About Steve Dellinger
Steve’s interest in construction began when he was just a young child. At the age of 12 years old he started helping to paint and remodel homes. He just loved the building trade and he knew then, he wanted to someday be a contractor. One summer while riding his bike through a new home development, Steve stopped and watched some masons laying up a brick wall and others pouring a sidewalk. That was all it took and he was hooked!
Contact SteveSteve applied for the masonry & concrete program at the former York County Vocational Technical High School. He was accepted and studied the trowel trades program for 3 years under the direction of Mr. Richard Deller, a very accomplished local mason and teacher of the Trowel Trades shop (masonry & concrete). Upon graduating he worked as a mason for a Mason Contractor from Stewartstown . After a few years of side work on evenings and weekends he started his own business in April of 1980. ” I started with a 1965 Chevy five hundred dollar pickup truck and my tool bag” Steve says.
Since that time Steve has always felt it necessary to keep up with and learn all that he could about the masonry & concrete trades he so loves. He has studied masonry repair at the University of Wisconsin and Glen Gery’s Brick Design Center in Baltimore, MD. Throughout the years Steve has attended many concrete seminars across the country at the annual World of Concrete Conventions.
